Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how BUNNY BUGGS LLC ("we", "us", "BunnyConvert") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the BunnyConvert mobile application and the website at bunnyconvert.com (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Privacy by design — your files

BunnyConvert is built so file conversions run entirely on your device. We do not upload, view, store, or transmit the content of files you select for conversion. Output files (PDFs, images, etc.) are saved locally to your device's Downloads folder.

Selected files never leave the device for the supported tools (image ↔ PDF, image resize, PDF sign / merge / split / compress / protect / unlock / remove pages / rotate / watermark / reorder, PDF → Word / Excel / PowerPoint / images, HEIC → JPG, ZIP, TXT → PDF, CSV ↔ JSON, MD → HTML).

2. Information we collect

We collect the minimum needed to operate the Service.

a) Anonymous analytics events

We use Supabase to record anonymous product events such as: app opened, selected language, which tool was used, conversion succeeded or failed, Pro screen viewed, ad watched, theme toggled. Events do not contain file contents, file names, file paths, or personally identifying information. A randomly generated session ID is attached to each event so we can debug user flows.

b) Advertising data (mobile app, free tier)

The free tier of the Android app includes optional Google AdMob rewarded ads. When you choose to watch an ad to earn extra credits, AdMob and its partners may collect:

c) Subscription / billing data (mobile app)

If you purchase BunnyConvert Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play Billing (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS, future). We never receive your payment instrument. We receive only an entitlement token confirming whether your subscription is active, the product ID (e.g. pro_monthly, pro_annual), and the renewal/expiry date.

d) Optional account (email)

Creating an account is optional — the Service works without one. If you choose to sign up, we process your email address and an encrypted password via Supabase Auth to create and authenticate your account and to sync your Pro entitlement across web and mobile.

e) Optional cloud file sync (signed-in users only)

If you are signed in, converted output files are uploaded to a private, per-user folder in Supabase Storage so you can access them from your other devices ("My Files"). Anonymous (signed-out) users keep the strict on-device behaviour described in Section 1 — nothing is uploaded. You can delete any synced file at any time from the "My Files" screen, or delete your whole account and all synced files (see Section 6).

f) Web subscription / billing data

On the website, BunnyConvert Pro is processed by Stripe. We never receive your card details; we receive only a subscription status linked to your account so Pro can be unlocked across devices.

g) Website measurement (consent-based)

On the website only, if you accept the cookie/consent bar, we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to measure traffic and advertising performance (e.g. which campaign led to a sign-up or subscription). These set cookies and share an event with Google. If you decline, no analytics/ads cookies or scripts are loaded. The native app does not use these. You can change your choice any time by clearing site data.

h) Locally stored preferences

The app stores the following on your device only (in browser localStorage or app private storage): chosen language, daily credit count, recently converted files history, signature templates you saved, favorite tools, onboarding completion. Clearing app data wipes these.

i) Information we do NOT collect

We do not require an account to use the Service. We do not collect your phone number, real name, contacts, photos, or files unless you explicitly select them for a conversion (or, for signed-in users, the conversion outputs you choose to keep synced as described above).

Account (email): until you delete your account. Synced cloud files: until you delete them, delete your account, or, where enabled, automatic cleanup after 30 days. Anonymous analytics events: up to 24 months. Subscription entitlement: until you cancel + 30 days. Locally stored data: until you clear app data or uninstall.

6. Your rights & account / data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data (email, Pro entitlement records, and every synced cloud file) at any time:

If you are in the EU, UK, California, or another covered region, you may also request access to, correction of, or portability of data we hold about you. Email support@bunnyconvert.com; we respond within 30 days. You may reset or delete your Advertising ID in device settings to limit ad personalization.

7. Children's privacy

BunnyConvert is rated for general audiences but is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete any associated data.

8. International transfers

BUNNY BUGGS LLC is a US entity. Anonymous analytics may be stored in EU or US Supabase regions. By using the Service you consent to processing in those regions, with appropriate safeguards.

9. Security

All web traffic uses HTTPS. Local storage on the device is sandboxed by the operating system. Subscription transactions are end-to-end secured by Google/Apple. We use industry-standard practices but cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be highlighted in the app and on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
